There are many kinds in electromagnetic tapes, in the material ratio and length.
Material differences make a difference in tape's color,hardness, and surface texture.
I displayed the cassette tapes lined up vertically on the 5.5 meters-high and 50 meters-long wall.
You can see visually that some music end shortly, some last long.
When you come to the end of 50 meters long wall, you will see the tapes become sparse.
Imagine there is music going along with the time of human life.
And imagine there is still some music going on even after the tape ends.
Listen to the white noise coming from the transparent tapes that goes after the electromagnet tapes.
There is no new music to cover after the transparent tapes end.

ひとことで磁気テープといっても、さまざまな材質の割合や長さがあります。
材質により色や硬さや表面感が異なります。
ランダムに選んだ使用済みカセットテープを、高さ5.5mの壁面に積み上げ、全長50mの壁伝いに展開しました。
ある「音楽」は早くに終わり、ある「音楽」は長く続きます。
そうして50mの壁を回りきったときには、テープはまばらになります。
人が生きている時間に音楽が流れているのだとしたら。
とうの昔に音楽を止めてしまった誰かの、その止まった音楽の最後に続く、磁気のない透明テープから聞こえて来るホワイトノイズに内なる聴覚を向けください。
透明テープすら終わった後の壁を、埋める新しい音楽は、ありません。
